Hello Young Adults!

We have openings in our transitional housing program! If you are interested in learning how to support yourself through work and/or school, you may be eligible for one of our program apartments in Brooklyn Park.

NWCSP YA Activity this week!

The young adult members of NWCSP are going to Dave & Busters (Maple Grove) this Thursday from 12-4. Meet us at the CSP at 11:45 if you're interested in joining us! Bring $$ to spend if you want to play games/eat food. Hope to see you Thursday!

NWCSP Activity Announcement!

The young adult members of NWCSP have planned a trip to Mall of America on Friday, March 14th. You can meet us here at 10am sharp or we can pick you up if you need a ride! We'll be returning to the CSP between 3-4 pm but can drop you off at home if needed.

Young Adult Welcome Event!

Welcome to all the new young adult members of the NWCSP! To help you get connected we will be having an event on Monday, February 10^th from 3-5pm. If you are a young adult (18-26) and you have done an intake here at NWCSP but aren’t sure what steps to take next, this event is for you! 

If you stop by any time between 3 and 5, we’ll have pizza for you (free!) and lots of great information about the support available here at the CSP- some common topics include housing, school, work, friends, sobriety, mental health and more!

Also, when you come to this event your name will be entered into a drawing for a $20 Target Gift Card! This is a great opportunity to meet other new young adult members as well.

Important Announcement from NWCSP

Hello!
We have some important news from the young adult program at NWCSP in Crystal...
During the months of December & January, we will not be having Monday night YA drop-in.

But do not worry! ... We are busy planning some exciting new opportunities for you in 2014 so stay tuned for the upcoming newsletters for more information!

In the mean time... please come to our annual Holiday Party on December 13th! All members are welcome, its a really fun day with a fantastic meal catered in and lots of other festivities. The party will be from 12-3pm at the CSP. If you are not able to get here on your own and would like a ride, please call Catherine (612.752.8306) or Bethany (612.752.8340) by Friday, December 6th. Hope to see you there!

Come participate in the annual NAMI Walk!

NAMIWalks 2013 is on Saturday, September 28th at Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis. Check-in is at 11:30am and the walk begins at 1:00pm.

Whether this is your first walk or one of many, the NAMI Walk help's to raise the public's awareness of mental illnesses and diminish the stigmas that are associated with mental health.

7/29 Young Adult drop-in @ NWCSP!

           Happy Last Monday of July!

This upcoming Monday, July 29th at drop-in, we will be headed to French Park to swim (weather permitting)! You can just come hang out at the beach if you don't want to swim, too. We will be leaving the CSP around 4:30 and returning to the CSP before 7. Hope to see you!

7/22 Monday Night Young Adult Drop-in @ NWCSP!

                                     Hey young adults!

This upcoming Monday, July 22nd, we are going to see a movie at the Brookdale Movie Theater! The movie is TBD, as there are a couple options. The showtime is at 4:15 for each option, so we are aiming to leave the CSP a little before 4:00, making sure we are back before 7:00. If you would like to attend the movie, please bring $3.
